Penn Masala Performing in Bay Area (Apr. 24)
Penn Masala will be performing a concert at University of California - Berkeley on April 24th. The concert will be held at Wheeler Auditorium on UC Berkeley's campus

Penn Masala - London Tour 2010
In March 2010, Penn Masala will embark on their second tour of London. Performances will include a concert at St. James Piccadilly on March 12 and a performance at Walten Hall at St. Paul's School on March 13. For more info including ticketing info, see our "shows" section.

Penn Masala Announces Tour of India - Jan. 2010
January 2010 - Penn Masala will embark on their 2nd tour through India, the last being in 2006 which they concluded with a sold out performance at NCPA in Mumbai. The tour consists of 3 concerts throughout Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. On January 3rd they will be performing at the Hard Rock Cafe Delhi at 9:00PM, and on January 7th the group will perform at Hard Rock Cafe Mumbai, also at 9:00PM. Penn Masala Selected for BOCA 2010 and SING Compilations
"Lovestoned / Ya Ali," a track from Penn Masala's newest album "On Detours," was selected to be on Varsity Vocals' BOCA (Best of Collegiate A Cappella) 2010, while "Distant Places," an original song from "On Detours," was selected for the Contemporary A Cappella Society's "Sing Six". Both albums are compilations of some of the year's best a cappella tracks from around the country! On Detours is currently available for purchase in the "store" section of our site as well as on iTunes!

Penn Masala Performs at White House
Penn Masala performed at the White House in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday for the White House's celebration of Diwali and the signing ceremony of the Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The event took place in the East Room of the White House, with attendees including President Barack Obama, the Secretary of Commerce and Secretary of Education, Associate Director of Public Engagement Kalpen Modi (also known as Kal Penn), members of Congress, and distinguished community members. Penn Masala opened the ceremony with a performance which was followed by a speech by President Obama.
